Incredibly kind, knowledgeable and professional doctor. As I have complex medical needs I attend 13 different clinics in 5 different hospitals and Ms Pearsall is the best consultant I have had the pleasure of meeting in a very long time. You are very fortunate if you are one of her patients.

Thank you so much for such kind words - absolutely nothing gives me more pleasure than to really connect with my patients, know that they understand all components of their health and to be with them on their journey every step of the way...

My experience with Whipps Cross Eye Treatment Centre for cataract surgery. My first consultation day was long- however, all the support staff were a joy… My overall impression is that the Patient always comes first. All the staff, from tea lady, ophthalmic nurses/technicians to my consultant surgeon, treated me with high professionalism and a warmth I wasn’t expecting. I was particularly taken and reassured with Miss Tahmina Pearsall’s (consultant surgeon) direct, no nonsense and empathetic way of communicating with me and equally her team! Operation day was also revelatory- you could really see the team are highly motivated in giving the best service they can, with humour and warmth. The operation lasted (approx.) 20mins and the only thing I didn’t particularly like was the very, very bright light, which I could not escape, and constantly in the background Miss Pearsall’s soothing voice, calming me throughout the whole process. Time will tell whether my operation has been a total success as I am only on day one post operation and the other eye will need to be operated. Yet I am extremely optimistic that my operations will give me benefits. This optimism is because my whole experience of undergoing eye surgery at Whips Cross Eye treatment centre has been very positive. The whole team are amazing, bearing in mind the difficulties with all the cuts they must be facing- this is an example of how brilliant the NHS can be.

It was absolute pleasure looking after you - having surgery especially on your eyes which are so precious and so important for our independence is not easy. So you should feel equally proud of that achievement. The team and I try extremely hard to make that process as comfortable and personal as possible and we value your feedback.

Dr Pearsall, performed Lazer Replacements Surgery on myself and my husband. My husband is a great researcher and he looked at a lot of doctors. After a consultation with Dr Pearsall we decided that she was the one we wanted to go with. This was the best decision we made, Dr Pearsall has been very straight talking from the beginning and she went through everything in great detail and made us feel totally at ease with regard to the procedure ahead. Once the surgery was over, we have had the best aftercare anyone could possibly have, telephone calls on a daily basis checking we were both doing fine. Follow-up appointments checking our eyes thoroughly. She has made us both feel very safe and I can honestly say this is the best thing I have had done, all thanks to Dr Pearsall.

What a wonderful and fun loving couple! It was so important for me to get the eye care just right as I really wanted you to enjoy the life quality change. I know how frustrating it is to not be able to read a text, a menu or wear normal sunglasses on the beach so to be able to strike that balance gave me great satisfaction and hopefully you a great deal of pleasure.. Just remember me as you look through that wine list at your next meal out :)

Miss Pearsall has looked after my husband through his glaucoma treatment, with great care and enthusiasm. She has always taken time to explain the procedure thoroughly. After his visits to the theatre she has been there to answer any questions. She has done this with a great sense of humour. I do not recognise this doctor as being the same as the one mentioned above. We always look forward to our appointments.
